VINTAGE DESCRIPTION
2005 was a very good vintage with warm dry conditions throughout March and April providing very favourable fruit flavours with excellent natural acid and balance
WINEMAKING NOTES
The Shiraz was harvested when the grapes were a little riper due to warm weather experienced in the region. Fermentation on the skins was carried out for seven days to retain the generous flavours and structure.

A warm wonderful combination of spice and white pepper and typical varietal Shiraz caharacters on the nose
WINE PALATE
This Coonawarra wine is a wonderful medium to full bodied Shiraz with a hint of oak. Displaying typical Shiraz fruit flavours with a touch of black pepper and spice. Excellent balances of French and American oak and raspberry fruit combine for a lingering smooth finish
