2004 Unwooded Chardonnay

VINTAGE DESCRIPTION
The 2004 CPV Unwooded Chardonnay displays attractive apple and lemon-lime aromas; luscious tropical fruit flavours dance on the palate. Creamy, yet dry and well balanced with a fresh lingering finish.

WINEMAKING NOTES
Good seasonal rains and a long, cool ripening period has resulted in excellent grape flavours. Harvest took place on March 24 2004, with the grapes immediately processed into jucie for fermentation. This Unwooded Chardonnay was fermented with an ideal yaest which enhances the strong varietal flavours. After Fermentation the wine was stabilised and bottled to retain its full fruit flavour.
