2008 Sauvignon Blanc
VINTAGE
A warm dry ripening period resulted in excellent fruit flavour development and acid balance of the wines, particularly in Sauvignon Blanc.
WINEMAKING
The grapes were harvested at optimum maturity and in the cool of night. The juice was separated and fermented at cool temperatures using aromatic yeast strains to release
bold varietal fruit characters. The wine was then bottled immediately after fermentation to retain fresh and vibrant fruit characters.
COLOUR
Pale straw in colour with a touch of green tinge hues.
BOUQUET
Intensely fragrant with plenty of citrus, passionfruit and melon aromas.
PALATE
Zippy citrus, passionfruit and melon flavours with a slight herbaceous edge and crisp lingering finish.
SUGGESTED FOOD
Enjoy with fresh grilled fish and a rocket salad with a citrus parsley dressing.
CELLARING
A very attractive wine to drink now.
