VINTAGE
Winter rainfall was average, giving good soil moisture levels for budburst in early spring. Conditions during spring were dry with minimal frost and no disease pressures allowing for excellent vine canopy development.

The 2009 cabernet sauvignon grapes were fermented on skins for 7 days at 26 degrees centigrade with gentle pump overs. Drained and pressed to tank for MLF and racked for maturation with French and American oak for 12 months prior to blending. No fining was required pre-bottling.
COLOUR
Deep red/black in colour with cherry hues.
