2005 Cabernet Sauvignon

VINTAGE
2005 was a very good vintage with warm dry conditions throughout March and April providing very favourable fruit flavours with excellent natural acid & balance

WINEMAKING
Favourable conditions allowed us to harvest the Cabernet Sauvignon in early April. A long ferment with up to 14 days on skins has resulted in a true Coonawarra classic Cabernet Sauvignon

COLOUR
Deep red in colour with purple hues

BOUQUET
Rich ripe cassis with blackberry and currant aromas with finely integrated new French oak

WINE PALATE
Intense rich, ripe cassis, blackberry aromas. Concentrated Cabernet flavours on the palate with well-balanced new French Oak

Enjoy with a Premium Steak

CELLARING
Brilliant fruit and tannin structure. This fine wine will benefit from up to 10 years in the cellar
